تعتبر العبارات و الجمل الهامة في اللغة الإنجليزية الأكثر استخداما في الحياة اليومية وتشبه في وقعها الامثلة التي تختصر الكلام و عادة ما تكون أكثر تعبيرا وتسمى بال Idiomatic Expressions.
و تكمن اهمية هذه التعابير في الخاصية التعبيرية و الجمالية في بعض الاحيان التي تضفيها على الكلام فيما يتعلق بالحاجات اليومية.
و يحدث استخدام العبارات الهامة في اللغة الانجليزية الفرق بين المتحدث الأصلي للغة الانجليزية مثل البريطانيين والأمريكان و بين المتعلم لها كلغة ثانية مثل الهنود و الاستراليين والعرب.
أكثر العبارات المستخدمة في الحوارات باللغة الانجليزية
اللغة الانجليزية هي لغة العصر فأنجح الابداعات الفنية و العلمية غالبا ما تكون باللغة الانجليزية و التي أصبح تعلمها مطلبا بالنسبة للكثيرين.
